Casement Doors and Windows

A casement door or window is an element that is attached to its frame by one or more hinges at the side. They are used singly or in pairs within a common frame, in which case they are hinged on the outside. Casement windows are often held open using a casement stay. Windows hinged at the top are referred to as awning windows, and ones hinged at the bottom are called hoppers. Our major system providers for such systems are Technal and Gutmann.

Curtain Walls

A curtain wall system is an outer covering of a building within which the outer walls are non-structural, utilized only to remain the weather out and also the occupants in.There are two main types of curtain walling construction: “stick” and “unitised”.
1- In stick construction, the curtain wall frame is constructed mainly on site with mullions and transoms supporting glass, spandrel panels, metal panels and brise-soleils. Each mullion is usually supported by the floor or perimeter beams.
2- In unitized construction the curtain wall is composed of large units that are assembled in the factory, shipped to the site and erected on the building.  Opening vents, glazing and infill panels are built into units before being transported to site.

Double Skin Façades

The double-skin facade is a system of building consisting of two skins, or facades, placed in such a way that air flows in the intermediate cavity. The ventilation of the cavity can be natural, fan supported or mechanical. The second skin also provides shade from direct sunlight, without disrupting the view from inside.

Exterior Metal Cladding

Top 5 exterior metal cladding types for a flash Facade:
1- Aluminum: Aluminium is a lightweight yet strong material for cladding a house. As a soft metal, it has high formability, but thickness is important for greater durability and a longer lifespan.
2- Zinc: Zinc is highly versatile and an increasingly common sight in contemporary architecture. It is a soft and malleable material, which allows for flexible construction. Zinc is extremely durable and low maintenance, and its resistance to oxidisation – by forming a naturally protective layer, known as a patina – helps it achieve an average lifespan of approximately 60 to 80 years.
3- Copper: Copper is a timeless material that develops a beautiful patina and character with age, making it suitable for both traditional and contemporary homes. Copper’s warm bronze tones turn an iridescent brown through natural weathering, before developing a green patina.
4- Corten Steel: Corten is a weather-resistant steel (copper-chromium alloy steel) that is more resistant to atmospheric weathering than other unalloyed steels. Its chemical composition reacts to pollutants in the atmosphere and promotes the early formation of a protective oxide film, which constantly regenerates over time. This patina develops as a reddish-brown layer and gains a darker hue with time.
5 - Corrugated Steel: Corrugated steel is a lightweight, strong and durable material that weathers well. The wave-like pattern

Aluminum Composite Panels

Aluminium composite panels (ACP), made of aluminium composite material (ACM), are flat panels consisting of two thin coil-coated aluminium sheets bonded to a non-aluminium core. ACPs are frequently used for external cladding or facades of buildings, insulation, and signage.

Louvers

Louvers have become recognized as a sustainable way to cut down heating and cooling costs and are an effective system for controlling the climate in a building and guiding fresh air in while ushering stale air out. Contractors easily design louvers to fit into homes, commercial structures and industrial constructions and give customers several options to choose from when it comes to size, shape, building materials and finish. The material chosen to manufacture a louver should be considered just the same as the elements being used to build the rest of a structure’s framework. Besides its low cost, aluminum louvers have several advantages to think over that can benefit a building in numerous ways.

Internal Partitions

Glazed partitions are a common feature of interior design for offices, commercial premises and public buildings. They are commonly used to:
1- Create distinct but open work areas or ‘pods’ to give a sense of definition and differentiation to spaces without affecting the ‘open plan’ feel of an office.
2- Enclose separate areas completely without restricting light and lines of sight.
3- Form parts of door and entrance ways.
4- Create a special design feature in an office.
